Phenergan Drowsy How Long

Why games are worse today

i wrote this in an oekaki board spontaneously as this topic was discussed
and got carried away so it got very long and with no style at all.

exact copy from SoLate! Oekaki Board :

" on consoles(good old nes, snes and stuff) one of the most important attractions was to beat the game(finally *_* <- anyone remember this feeling? it's gone today x,D ). so games HAD to be HARD(in NORMAL mode and prefarably even harder on hard mode xD ) to not beat it in an hour.
it wasn't always possible to put those movie-like stories in games to please the player without the "yeah, did it!" feeling.
now most of the game developers unfortunately tend to reach ALL PEOPLE instead gamers only ( damn world, where this is necessary to make a good selling game and where sales are the most important thing :,D ). so developers do everything possible to make EASY games, playable and beatable by everyone so everyone sees their "wonderful movies" in their games. and we all know, movies are a mainstream thing for everyone.
the best selling games in our time are all mega easy, beatable by everyone and actually just "watching movies with ability to walk around in them". examples: assassin's creed, gta, FUCKING FINAL FANTASY XIII is in fact nearly WITHOUT ABILITY to do anything but WATCHING (!!!). i hate the marketing of games today. it makes finding good games for real gamers really hard.

my conclusion is that games are not for GAMERS anymore.

What's for gamers if games are not? :, D "
